As an integral part of our growth strategy, we are looking for an experienced Digital Design and UX Leader to work across our business. This is a critical role to ensure our growth outcomes are achieved.
This exciting role will be working alongside members of the wider Product team and will see the individual making a very significant contribution to the direction and development of our products. The role is highly cross-functional and critical to the realisation of our company goals and strategy.
We’re looking for a highly experienced Lead UX Designer, who is ready to step into a Head of UXD role within our growing UX&D team. You'll be integral to the day-to-day operation of the business, shaping/optimising the process and over time, growing the team.
You’ll be hands-on working across our portfolio. You help build our clear user-first design culture while mentoring the UX&D function as our team expands. A dynamic UX&D vision will be vital to our success, in a world where users invest hours engaging with our platform and products.

Enthusiastic about establishing a user-centred design culture.
Exceptional communicator, and collaborator.
Empathetic, with a focus on the customer and their mindset.
An eye for detail - usually the first to spot an issue.
Able to establish a vision for UX&D to drive a 1-3 year roadmap.
Actively lead the UXD function for the wider business.
Line management and mentoring experience.
Experience of meeting or exceeding Accessibility requirements.
Present a consistent and externally recognised approach to UX&D.
In direct contact with our customers and our wider team, evolve the Design of our current products.
Lead on the UX&D of a of new global products.
Generate designs, wireframes and lead on UXD testing.
Work with Product team to make sure UX&D fits into the roadmap at the correct places.
Help us identify further design resource requirements and evolve your team.
Experience leading ideation sessions and design sprints.
Ability to create journey maps and prototypes.
Experience with user testing interviews, workshops and guerrilla testing.
Experience working within agile development teams.
Ability to work cross-discipline, with a base level understanding of product management, brand strategy and software development.
Experience of working in EdTech would be highly advantageous to this role
