This day is a great opportunity to network, share practice, and see how PebblePad is being used in different areas for teaching, learning and assessment. The events are open to anyone and we’ve deliberately kept attendance costs low to encourage delegates to stay over and attend MiniBash (UK) the following day.

Healthcare
This day brings together professional groups who use, or would like to use PebblePad in health related education programmes or within health related organisations. It is aimed at anyone involved with delivering, facilitating or managing education in the health arena. The theme of the day is threading and embedding PebblePad use and as such will share stories of different types of use. We hope to have examples from Radiography, Paramedicine, Nursing, Midwifery, Optometry programmes and also some student stories. The confirmed programme will be made available soon. There will be workshops on managing hours, Continuing Professional Development, more ideas of embedding in a programme/course and Healthy housekeeping when using practice assessors. The day promises to provide some lively presentations, opportunities for networking, some good company and great food.

Medical Education
For the past 15 years we have shared our unique blend of technology and educational expertise to help universities across the globe guide and develop future-ready graduates. Increasingly we have witnessed a growing interest in PebblePad from clinical disciplines as healthcare educators seek to design and share structured frameworks of activities with their students which map to the learning outcomes of their curricula and external regulatory requirements.
This Special Interest Group will offer the opportunity to connect with fellow colleagues from the world of medicine, including those who are already enhancing their practice using PebblePad and others who are attracted by the potential of our platform.
Current developments will be shared from a range of medical schools in the UK and across the globe. The group will then be able to work together to explore the areas of PebblePad development that would be most desirable to satisfy the unique requirements presented by the challenging area of medical education. You will have the chance to contribute to future roadmap of the entire platform and the different elements of Pebble Plus, ATLAS and PebblePocket.
Whether you are interested in our system as a solution within medicine or an existing customer who would like to learn more about PebblePad in medical education this is a perfect event for you. Sign up today to reserve a place!

Degree apprenticeships
Degree apprenticeships are a recent development offering a new route to a degree level qualification, both undergraduate and postgraduate. Recording off the job learning, reflecting on practice, giving access to work-based mentors, preparing for end point assessment are all common aspects of each apprenticeship standard.
Many of our customers are now using PebblePad to support apprentices as they combine work with study. Our special interest group is based on sharing experiences of using PebblePad and the challenges around this new way of studying for a degree.
This one day event will be a chance to network and exchange ideas and approaches to using PebblePad to support the delivery of degree apprenticeships. Opening the day will be Dr Megan Lawton who will explain how she uses PebblePad to deliver the Academic Professional apprenticeship at the University of Wolverhampton.
There will be opportunities to problem solve together with demonstrations of how some of PebblePad’s reporting features can help our customers monitor apprentice progression and engagement. Come prepared for a day of conversation and sharing of practice!
